I have been a full time real estate agent with Van Dorm Realty since 2004, but I have been involved with residential housing for many years. I worked with my husband in his construction business and also worked in the loan servicing department of a local bank for a number of years. I have lived in Thurston County since 1974 and have been active in the community. I have two grown children who went through the Olympia School system. I volunteered many hours in the classroom and with extra curriculum events, such as summer baseball. I also volunteered with Community Youth Services for a number of years working with children in the Diversion Program. In addition, I was a Big Sister with the Big Brother/Big Sister Association for over 8 years mentoring a young girl who is now a successful adult. I graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor's degree in education and I taught elementary school for five years.
