My marketing of your property will include the following: determining a listing price that fits the market taking into consideration Active, Pending, and Sold Listings, listing your property in the Northwest Multiple Listing Services (NWMLS) (the top service used by real estate professionals), hiring a professional photographer who will take interior, exterior, and aerial photos for print and digital publications, conducting Open Houses when appropriate, and featuring your property on social media sites in new and fresh ways that will capture the interest of buyers. I will also go the extra mile by personally contacting other local agents known to work with buyers of similar properties, branching out into specialized marketing niches, and conducting research into your home's unique challenges and highlights. I will get your property sold.

Buying a new home is exciting but navigating the many steps between discovering your dream home and achieving an accepted offer, can be made smoother by working with a real estate professional. I bring expert-level experience in negotiating for your home, explaining multiple offers situations, understanding inspection reports, explaining short sales and foreclosures, evaluating investment properties and commercial properties, and understanding land purchases. Additionally, I can support you in your search for a loan officer/loan program that can streamline the process for obtaining the pre-approval status necessary to determine the price range for your new home or property. Lastly, after working in this part of the country for decades, I have strong, professional relationships with hundreds of other agents, local contractors and real estate professionals in the area. When it comes time to negotiate an offer on behalf of a client, I use every skill I have developed to make that purchase happen.

I was raised in Minnesota, graduated from The Ohio State University, and served as a Captain in the US Marine Corps stateside and overseas, but Thurston County has been my home now for close to thirty years. During that time, I raised three children in the Olympia School District and participated in many local organizations, including the annual Marine Corp League Toys for Tots. I am proud to live in a vibrant community where people value their relationships with one another and with the gorgeous beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
