Jeff Pust
Hi, I'm Jeff Pust.
I am a lifetime Thurston County resident. I have been married to my high school (Go Cougs) sweetheart for 36 plus years. We have two wonderful daughters: one a college graduate with a BS in Equine Science, and the other a graduate of the University of British Columbia. My hobbies include assisting my wife and daughter with their horse ranch business, exercise, and and cycling where I have completed the Seattle to Portland and the Seattle to Vancouver, BC bicycle rides.
My real estate career started in 1986 when I first became a mortgage loan originator at a sister company of ours here at Van Dorm Realty. For the next 8 years I originated mortgage loans at several different institutions, became an underwriter of mortgage loans, and towards the end of my banking career worked a bit as an appraiser. In 1994 I joined the family firm as a real estate salesperson until my wife’s parents retired in 2004. Since then my wife and I have successfully been running Van Dorm, survived the crash years, and have grown our business to over 100 brokers.
During my tenure in real estate I have served on three real estate related boards. I was a member and eventual Chairman of the Olympia Thurston County MLS and I am a current board member and Treasurer for the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. I have also served as an alternate member on the Thurston County Board of Tax Appeals.
I am passionate about real estate. I am emphatic about doing "right" by the people we serve and the brokers we participate in transactions with.
